CSF For Stroke Research

PrecisionMed, Inc. will soon be offering CSF, serum/plasma, PAXGene and EDTA blood serially collected from donors with stroke and matched normal controls. Subjects are seen every 6 months and will have clinical and functional evaluations as well as biological sampling at each visit. Corresponding detailed clinical information, including functional status is provided with each sample.

PrecisionMed is adding the following disorders to its CSF inventory: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, post traumatic stress disorder, major depression, bipolar disorder, diabetic peripheral neuropathy and stroke. PrecisionMed also performs custom CSF collections and processing.

PrecisionMed has ongoing collections of CSF in normal controls, Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, schizophrenia, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.

All biological material and clinical data are collected under IRB approved clinical protocols.
